English Ministry Part-time Director Position Description

Description of characteristics and qualifications needed for the English Ministry Part-time Director
We desire for the English Ministry Director to possess the following qualities:

• English-speaking

• Love for and focus on Jesus

• Fear of God

• Dependence on prayer

• Spirit-led

• Desire to make disciples through spiritual development

• Strong knowledge of Scripture

• Gifts of teaching and shepherding

• Desire to establish relationships with the youth, parents of the youth, and young adults

• Desire to develop leaders within the English Ministry

• Willingness to encourage a balance between knowledge of God and experience of God

• Ability to work cross-culturally with the Taiwanese Ministry

• Seminary studies - either currently or has completed

Primary Responsibilities of the English Ministry Part-time Director (Paid Position)
The EM Director position is a part-time position. Work hours will be discussed on a one-on-one basis with the candidate. We invite the English Director to guide and lead the English Ministry through spiritual development. This will involve taking part in the following service platforms of the English Ministry: 

• Teach Sunday school - middle school and/or high school

• Lead Friday night youth fellowship with Bible teachings and activities - 3 times per month

• Facilitate weeknight college/career fellowship - weekly or biweekly

• Assist in special event planning - ie. lock-ins, retreats, graduation banquets, etc.

• Collaborate with the English Ministry elder and/or Senior Pastor to coordinate schedule for Sunday guest preachers
